Frequently Asked Questions

Is Nutriex Sport good for my sixteen year-old son who plays baseball and
pitches?
Yes. Connective tissue strengthening and remodeling is at its peak during the adolescent and post adolescent growth periods. Muscle development often precedes tendon and ligament development by one or two years making connective tissue nutrition including vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and cartilage nutrients, valuable.

Should I take Nutriex Sport or Nutriex Health? My doctor told me to take Nutriex
Sport after surgery and then switch to Nutriex Health after several months.
Nutriex Sport contains the natural anti-inflammatory (bromelain) and higher levels of glucosamine and chondroitin for connective tissue health. For these reasons, we recommend that the following people take Nutriex Sport:
-
Those who have been recently injured
-
Those who have undergone surgery or are scheduled for surgery
-
Those who have arthritis or other degenerative joint changes
-
Those who are involved in rigorous training or high-level sports
How can I tell if Nutriex Sport is doing any good?
Look for signs of improved general health like your skin health, hair and nail growth, your energy level and your ideal sleep/wake cycle. After six months, look for improved immune system health; like resistance to colds and flus or a faster recovery from a cold virus. Measure you training parameters for improvement. Compare muscle soreness following activity to other athletes. Ask your coach or athletic trainer for his/her read on your training and/or performance.
