Why Most Americans Need Dietary SupplementationBecause of poor eating habits, only a small percentage of the U.S. population gets even the RDA levels of many important nutrients. According to government surveys, fewer than one in five people consume the recommended daily servings of fruits and vegetables. With more and more meals being eaten away from home, and a steadily increasing number of those meals coming from fast food restaurants, the average American diet is one of calorie rich, nutrient poor, food. We are overfed and under nourished, which is demonstrated by an epidemic of obesity. The importance of getting optimal levels of minerals, vitamins and antioxidants, as well as the right amounts and types of fat, carbohydrates and proteins cannot be underestimated. Nutriex is designed to complement a healthy lifestyle and supply advances levels of essentials nutrients that are needed to maintain a lifetime of good health. Matching Nutriex HealthFor equivalence to Nutriex, comparable supplementation may take 12-16 different products at 4-8 times the cost of Nutriex. Supplementation from varied sources raises issues of cost, inconvenience, megadosing or omission of key nutrients. Personal concerns regarding purity, quality and freshness are met with greater difficulty. The juggling of 12 to 16 different supplement bottles can prove difficult. Nutriex is a single combined source of nutrients which when added to a healthy lifestyle can be effective in diminishing the risk of many diseases. Nutriex Health contains 43 nutrients selected on the basis of scientifically supported information regarding their health benefit. Assurance of QualityConsumers of Nutriex are getting a high quality product. We comply with all existing federal regulations on dietary supplements, including Codes of Federal Regulations (CFRs) established by the Food and Drug Administration and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) established for the industry. All nutrients come from high-quality sources; we do not use less expensive ingredients in order to reduce our costs. Many of the vitamins and minerals in Nutriex are common enough that the United States Pharmacopeia (USP) has established quality standards for them. If a USP standard exists for a specific nutrient, we meet those standards. Supplement FactsServing Size: 4 to 9 capsules

Frequently Asked Questions1. I am allergic to shellfish, since glucosamine is made from the shells of crustaceans, can I take Nutriex Health? Most people who are allergic to shellfish are allergic to the proteins in the shellfish. Because the glucosamine in Nutriex Health comes from the chitin found in the shells (which does not contain protein), you are unlikely to have an allergic reaction. If you decide to try Nutriex Health, you may want to take only one capsule at first, and then increase the number of capsules each day until you are taking the recommended amount.
2. The label on Nutriex Heath recommends taking it twice a day. Why not take it all at once? Absorbtion is more effective when split into bi-daily or even tri-daily portions. Having key nutrients in your system at night is especially beneficial. Taking Nutriex Health capsules before meals may be helpful in a weight management program. Helpful tip: Keep your Nutriex Health at your bathroom sink so that you take it when you brush your teeth.
3. I'm allergic to sulfa drugs. Can I take Nutriex Health even though it contains chondroitin sulfate? The composition of chondroitin sulfate is very different from the compounds that make up sulfa drugs, so you should not experience an allergic reaction by taking Nutriex Health. Sulfur is also present in foods such as broccoli, eggs, and onions, foods that people commonly eat without adverse reactions. If you have other questions about how chondroitin sulfate will affect you, please consult your physician.
4. I've read that it's hard to get vitamin E from your diet. Where does vitamin E come from? Vitamin E is found naturally in vegetable oils, nuts, green leafy vegetables, and whole grains; however, the quantity of vitamin E found in these items is very low. For example, you would have to consume 2 pounds of hazelnuts or 7 ounces of canola oil in order to get the 200 IU contained in Nutriex Health. Nutriex Health uses only the natural form (d-alpha tocopheryl) combined with mixed tocopherols which many leading nutritionists recommend.
5. What is CoQ-10? Coenzyme Q10 was first discovered in 1957 by Dr. Frederick Crane. Also called ubiquinone, coenzyme Q10 is a substance found naturally in our bodies. It helps to produce energy in our cells and is also an excellent antioxidant. With aging, CoQ-10 levels diminish. A number of scientific studies suggest that coenzyme Q10 may help prevent cardiovascular disease, cancer, diabetes, gum disease, chronic infections, and fatigue. Although CoQ-10 is found primarily in organ meats, blood levels of CoQ-10 are interestingly higher in vegetarians. This suggests that a high intake of plant foods may preserve CoQ-10 levels. 6. I know dietary supplements are not well regulated. How do I know the ingredients in your products are any good? We outsource our manufacturing and have carefully selected a manufacturer whose priority is to meet or exceed all regulatory standards (either existing or proposed). As such, they only allow ingredients to come from a select group of vendors that meet the following criteria:
If a vendor ever falls below one of the above standards, they are eliminated from the working list and their ingredients are no longer approved for use. We have in the past done some random screening of our more expensive ingredients (which are more likely to be adulterated). After consistently appropriate results, we decided to minimize our expenses and only test if needed. 7. Does the green tea extract in the Nutriex supplements contain caffeine? Though green tea extracts can be high in caffeine, ours contains a small amount -- 4 mg for the average serving size of 7 Health capsules or 9 Sport capsules. This is equivalent to the amount of caffeine in 4 Hershey Kisses or half a cup of hot cocoa. In comparison, a typical cup of tea contains about 50 mg, while coffee contains 100+ mg of caffeine. 8. Do Nutriex supplements contain any gluten or gluten products? Nutriex supplements not contain any gluten or gluten products except for Nutriex Proteins, which may contain trace amounts of gluten from the oat fiber it contains. |
