New preventive health clinic will be conducting health evaluations during upcoming Outdoor Retailer trade show in Salt Lake City Aug. 3-6, 2010

Park City, Utah (July 28, 2010) — Officials from ProHealth Lab are pleased to announce the opening of the ProHealth Lab clinic in the state-of-the-art Park City Medical Center in Park City, Utah. The non-profit 501(c)3 ProHealth Lab clinic will be open during the upcoming Outdoor Retailer trade show in Salt Lake City, Aug. 3-6, 2010, and will be conducting evaluations during that time for world-class athletes Chris Sharma and Kit DesLauriers. Individuals interested in getting a health screening at the ProHealth Lab clinic should email emily@prohealthlab.org or call (435) 333-3535.

"The health evaluations are an excellent way for athletes to determine their current level of health and fitness as well as learn how to improve on their performance," said Cynthia Levinthal, director of research at ProHealth Lab. "Dr. Max Testa, physician and exercise physiologist, is available at the clinic to do VO2 testing, lactate threshold and give performance programs," Levinthal added.

ProHealth Lab physician Max Testa, MD, has trained and cared for some of the best professional and amateur athletes in every major sport. Currently, Testa is the exercise sports physician for the BMC Racing Team, whose members include World Road Race Champion Cadel Evans, and George Hincapie, U.S. Road Race Champion.
